I recently read the first issue of Dark Heart, #1 by writer Scott Wilson of First Nations Indigiverse comics.
Review
Dark Heart begins with this first issue telling the tales and lore of Australia’s First Nations people from the Kimberely region of Australia. A clever combination of humour infused with lore from cultures 60,000 years old. A very engaging and beautifully coloured and executed story.
Conclusion
A highly recommended superhero comics which infuses lore from First Nations people in an engaging and interesting manner. Perfect for fans of Cleverman comics and TV series and for anyone interested in new superhero universes and characters.
